The Story of a Martyr’s Death Part III

This word made the governor fly into a rage. He ordered Pang to shut up. But Pang said:
“Unless you shoot the bullets into my mouth, I shall keep on rebuking you, these lackeys and running dogs!”

The governor really ordered his underlings loudly to made two shots at Pang’s mouth…..

This story has always tugged at out heart-strings. We must learn the revolutionary spirit from our predecessors. In case of difficulty or danger, we must advance bravely.

The Story of a Martyr’s Death Part II

The story went that Pang Hsiung, one of the martyrs, had presented his views vehemently and then died a heroic death.

He ssid fervently and solemnly in the face of the then Ching Fovernor for Kwangtung and Kwangsi:
“If the life of the Ching Government should extend for another dexade the nation should be subjucated. If the Chinese should not arise quickly and overthrow them, the nation should be exterminated. You, the lackeys who have been betraying the motherland and serving enemies impudently would be the simmers who would leave a stink for ten thousand years!”
