A Father’s Repentance Part I

Chen MIng always felt unhappy when he thought of his family. His parents used to scold each other or even fight with each other because his father was a slovenly person who always idled away his time, indulging himself in drinking and gambling. He often picked quarrels with his wife if he gambled away his money.

Chen MIng’s mother was a kind and diligent woman who supported the family by serving as a garment inspector in a factory. Although she was dissatisfied with her husband’s behaviour, she tried her best to persuade him to come around, asking him to think about. The family and the son. Her efforts, however, were of no avail bevause he obstinatedly stuck to the wrong course.

Chen Ming was disturbed by the situation, which led to the retrogression of his studies.
